This photo was taken outside a bus stop along Bukit Timah Road. In Singapore, we have crash barriers installed along most bus stops (around 99.99% of them, except for the ones with really low usage in the outskirts) to prevent swerving cars from crashing into people. They make me feel safe

Everyday in Singapore, I secretly give thanks to the caring government. Although it has been ridiculed for being over-protective and for not repealing penal code 377(A) and death sentence of drug traffickers… the government does things that are, most of the time, for our own good.

To achieve the infrared-HDR effect, the RAW file is first processed using Photomatix Pro 3, exported as 16-bitt TIFF file and then sent to CS3 for post-processing (which includes conversion to black and white).

Story
